The Bedrich Smetana Museum is situated in a beautiful neo-Rennaisance building right next to the Charles Bridge. A statue of Smetana looks out over the beautiful view of the castle and the Vltava river which inspired one of his most famous compositions.The entrance can be quite hard to find, but once inside you can see manuscripts, letters, diaries and other artifacts linked to the life of this father of Czech nationalist music
