Kleť planetarium is situated south of the peak of the hill of the same name, the highest peak of Blanský forest, not far from Český Krumlov. The easiest way to get up the hill is the chair lift funning from Krásetín. There is a huge car park down the hill so you do not have to worry about where to park your car. The location for the planetarium was choosen due to the local unique climatic conditions, it is the most highly located planetarium in the Czech Republic. Nowadays it is very famous especpecially for discovering and researching little planets. Would you like to see how good they are? Look at these figures: up to the present day 160 000 little planets were numbered all around the world and 878 of these were discovered by the Kleť planetarium!
