Spa Ostrožská Nová Ves, - Zlín Region

The sulphur spa Ostrovská Nová Ves is situated in the very middle of the Slovácko region, about 8 km from Uherské Hradiště. From one side it is surrounded by the Bílé Karpaty mountain range and from the other by the Chřiby hills and the Buchlov castle. The main medical procedure in Ostrovská Nová Ves consists in sulphur baths for which mineral water from sulphur springs is used. The spa is suitable mostly for people with motor problems as well as problems with  their skin (psoriasis etc.).  The spa resort will definitely meet all your demands. There is also a great variety of leisure activities you can enjoy, such as sport, music, etc.

The spa resort was founded in 1903 when it was proven that the local springs had certain currative effects. Six bath cabins and a small spa building were established. Twenty years later a new and bigger building with 22 cabins was built. The spa resort became were polular and more and more people were coming every year. The whole resort was cempletely reconstructed in the second half of the 1990s and opened again in 2000.
