The history of the picturesque Březnice castle dates back to the 13th century when a fortress was converted into a Gothic castle. In the 16th century it was given a Rennaisance appearance which has remained almost untouched up to the present day.

Many cultural events, such as festivals and concerts take place at the castle every year.
