Thank you for the historical information about Hasicsky Dum. One item of information that was omitted was that the architect was Arpad Furchtgott, a Jewish architect who had studied with Walter Gropius of Bauhaus fame.

On the above comment. Arpad Furchtgott was my father and I have photographs of him in a meeting with Prazak a Moravec. He was killed in concentrcion camp in 1945. I visited Praue and Hasicsky Dum in 2009 and recognised his distinctive handwriting in the display cases in the foyer of the building.

Thanks for the historical information about Hasicsky Dum. One item omitted is that the architect was Arpad Furchtgott who studied architecture with Walter Gropius. Perhaps as a Jewish architecture he was lassified as aperson non grata, that surely must now change.
