Ústí Region - Házmburk Castle Ruin,

The ruins of Gothic castle Hazmburk are situated about 3,5 km from the town of Libochovice. The castle was founded in the 14th century and was one of the biggest castles built at that time. Its location on a hill made it very safe. Nevertheless, it lost its significance two centuries later and started to decay. In the Romantic period it became a favourite place of many poets and writers.
