The premises are completed with the beautiful St. Margaret’s Church and surrounded by a large fascinating park. Jan Adam of Questenberk (1678-1752) is responsible for this building. He rebuilt the original Renaissance chateau in today’s breathtaking Baroque look. The chateau was also magnificently decorated. The original Renaissance garden was rebuilt in French Baroque Park at the same time. Under Adam of Questenberk, music and theatre admirer, the chateau became famous with a busy cultural life. The castle theatre, music and dancing hall, library, castle gallery and Chinese cabinet were founded in the eastern part of the side wing and nowadays they are parts of sightseeing tour. In the interiors there are period musical instruments and other movables related to the rich musical life.
