This museum, situated near to the Florenc interchange is far more entertaining than its name might suggest. The museum takes us through the history of Prague from the its foundation in the 9th century throughout the Gothic, Renaissance and Romanesque periods. In addition to the predictable exhibits there are genuinely fascinating elements including an 18th century miniature version of Prague and documents and information about the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich.
